Veterans Hockey United is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to uniting active-duty service members and veterans through the sport of hockey. We believe in the healing power of team sports — the camaraderie, discipline, and sense of belonging that the ice provides.
Through tournament participation and charity games, with a growing national network of veteran hockey teams, VHU creates environments where those who have served can continue to serve each other.
Our Programs
VHU fields teams and competes in multiple tournaments across the United States — from local regional tournaments to national competitions like the annual Armed Services Hockey Association (ASHA) tournaments on Memorial Day and Veterans Day weekends.
